Mommy was looking for a power cord from her old iPhone 4 for a furrend and found a memory card with our old pictures that we used when we first started to blog 7 years ago.
She was showing mes some pictures of mes and Hissy Old Licorice sitting on Daddy like wes used to do.
It bringed back lots of memories for mes. This made mes thinks of the purrfect gift for today!!!
Oh! here is the cropped picture wes used for the background!
Mes hopes yous has a PAWSOME day!
PS, in the picture, Licorice is 17 and mes is 11.
Mum and I wanted to say, your comment on Dusty's post made our day.

ReplyDeleteNellie, mommy found the truth to that statement you made for us all some time ago and it is so true. To be significant, an event does not have to be huge, big, or even life changing. It is the warmth of the sun on your furs or skin...the sound of loppers trimming and cutting bushes, the fragrance of grass, kitty snoring, coffee making, a family member talking in the other room, a dearly loved pet walking or running up to you. The simple act of waking to another day. All is valuable and one day will be looked back on and we will smile at the memory.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, Nellie!
ReplyDeleteLots of Purrs,
The Chans
Wow, 17 ! That is very impressive.
ReplyDeleteLicorice looks mighty comfy there! Did you get along? It's always nice to look back at photos of days gone by. Helps to put today in perspective. Love you!!❤️❤️❤️
ReplyDeleteLicorice was DEFINITELY a "big thing." Just kidding. But we couldn't help but notice the huge size difference with the two of you in that shot ... it's hard to appreciate how tiny you are just from pictures of your beauteous self! And you are right ... it's the small things that truly become the big things in time :)
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to find old photos!
ReplyDeleteNellie, wes loves old photos, especially when they are from a time before we knew you. And we never knew hissy ole Licorice! Mom's friend has been going through old photos and has sent Mom some really great ones of Fiona and Giulietta from when they were young. She has used one on the blog but plans to use most of them.
