Babies on Monday

 

Our swallows has had a second batch of babies this summer. They have been making quite a ruckus for a couple of weeks now and mes LOVES watching the pawrents and the older siblings flying around and back and forth. Sunday, mes sent Mommy out to gets a picture of them so mes can show them to yous and all she could see was the tops of their heads.

There is only 2 of them this time and they can still hunker down pretty good. She even climbed the step ladder and the above was all she could see!

She did gets a pretty decent picture of a big boat coming down the river though. 

Just before supper, it was raining like mad and Mommy peaked out the window.

Mommy was watching the older kids dodging the raindrops and one of the babies was too!

My goodness they gets big fast! He/She is still pretty fluffy! And yous can see they still have the yellow stripe on their beak so the Mommy and Daddy can has target practice when they flies up with bugs!

The swallows has kept mes entertained all summer - mes will miss them when they fly south!

Wordy Wednsday!

My Mommy has ANOTHER cold!!! Once again, mes not getting a whole bunch of sleeps because she is either:
               A -thrashing around and shaking the whole bed or
               B - Barking like a Dog! (Gosh her cough is annoying!)

AND

If its not Mommy, its the Swallows!!!!

They has laid their eggs and they is hanging around their nest and they yells at each other ALOT!!!

 

Here is Mommy bird rolling over her eggs (or at least that is what we think she is doing)

 

Mommy startled her! Here she is sitting beside Mr Swallow and they is YELLING at Mommy to close the door and gets off the deck!!!

 

When Mommy went in the apartment and closed the door, here is Mommy bird returning to her nest!

They sure talks a lot!!! And they starts at 4 in the morning, just as the sun comes up and they goes until the sun goes down at 10 pm!

Mes thinks Mommy bird naps on the eggs sometimes.  But how much noise is they going to makes when the babies hatch?!?

Mes will lets yous know!

Swallows on my Bird TV!

Mommy was cleaning and there was squawking and a birdies making quite the kerfuffle outside on my deck. Mes had to gets out of my heated bed to has a closer look.

See this!

When mes looked through the glass door, there was a birdie sitting on my deck railing!!!

And up there, on the sprinkler head...

 

Over the sliding door to my bedroom, is the other bird, building a nest!!!

After they flew to get more mud and grass, Mommy let me out so I could have a closer look. They are sure leaving a mess...

Mommy is not sure they will stay..they find our neighbors, where Mr. Wiggles lives, to be very noisy (so does me).  

But if they do, they could bes quite entertaining! Especially if they has babies!!
