There is 2 BIG babies still in the the nest. There was 3, but one fell out early last week and was not in very good shape. Mommy had to gives the baby a funeral. She was furry sad and cried.
Me thought she should give it to me! But Mommy said no way.
They is making lots and lots of noise and they barely fits in the nest!
Mes thinks they will be out and about before we knows it!
This is me trying to convince Mommy mes should has the baby bird!

Aw, sorry about the baby birdie, but do you mind if we say we're kinda glad she didn't give it to you.. Sorry Nellie. Smooches?
ReplyDeleteThat is super sad sweet Nellie, we hate it when that happens here too.
ReplyDeleteHow sad!—That you didn't get to lunch on the birdie. Those birds would drive me crazy trying to get to them.
ReplyDeletePoor birdie... and poor you ! Your mom is no fun : you should have had that bird. Purrs
ReplyDeleteOh Nellie. We had a big birdy hit our door da other day and it got hurted really bad. Mommy checked on it, and it was still breathin'. Cuz she didn't know what kinda bird it was, mommy wouldn't let us have it. She couldn't bring herself to wring it's neck so she purrayed God would take care of it somehow.
ReplyDeleteLuv ya'

We've had baby birdies fall out of the nest here, too, Nellie. It's very sad. The mom says it's all part of nature...but it's still very sad.
ReplyDeleteRest in peace little bird. You look adorable Nellie, I would give you some treats. Have fun with your brother. XO
ReplyDeleteThat is too sad about the loss of the wee fledgling...it will have lovely strong wings to use at the Bridge:)
ReplyDeleteDid you get a substitute instead of wee birdie?!
So far this year we have not seen fallen out birdies around here.
Nellie, Sunday Selfie link is still open, and we think you should add that last photo. It is a terrific one. Sorry about the baby birdie. Our mommy had to give mini cheat compressions to a sparrow yesterday. Lisbeth was chasing it around the house, and mom had to take it out of her mouth. Sometimes Misty May brings a birdy in the cat door and sometimes they get in the catio as it is open to the second upper deck. Birdie survived and finally flew away! ReplyDeleteYou must be gettin' pretty anxious to see those birdies flyin' about, huh?
ReplyDeletePurrs,
Seville
